PRIVACY POLICY

The purpose of this Privacy Policy is to inform how the personal data of data subjects is collected and processed, to explain how long it is stored, to whom it is provided, what rights data subjects have, and where to turn to exercise these rights or for other questions related to personal data processing.

Personal data is processed in accordance with the European Union General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (hereinafter – the Regulation), the Law on Legal Protection of Personal Data of the Republic of Lithuania, and other legal acts regulating the protection of personal data.

UAB “Valrima” follows the following main principles of data processing:

  • Personal data is processed only lawfully and fairly;

  • Personal data is constantly updated;

  • Personal data is stored securely and not longer than required for the defined purposes or legal obligations;

  • Personal data is processed only by employees of the Company who are granted such rights according to their duties or by properly authorized data processors.

DEFINITIONS

  1. Data Controller – UAB “Valrima” (hereinafter – the Company), legal entity code 302347376, registered address: A. Purėno g. 5, LT-40118 Kupiškis.

  2. Data Subject – any natural person whose data is processed by the Company. The Company collects only the data necessary for the performance of its activities and/or when using the Company’s website, e-shop, Facebook page, etc. (hereinafter – the Website). The Company ensures that collected and processed personal data is secure and used only for a specific purpose.

  3. Personal Data – any information directly or indirectly related to the data subject whose identity is known or can be determined. Processing of personal data includes any operation (e.g., collection, recording, storage, editing, access, request submission, transmission, archiving, etc.).

1. SOURCES OF PERSONAL DATA

  3. Data is also obtained from other sources – other institutions, companies, public registries, etc.

For special goods purchases, additional data may be required:

  • Date of birth

  • Personal ID code

  • License number to purchase special goods

  • License expiry date

  • Name of issuing police department

  • Other data required to fulfill services or legal duties

Other processing purposes include:

  • Contract formation and execution

  • Tax accounting and payment control

  • Administration of inquiries, comments, complaints

  • Security (e.g., video surveillance):

    • Only video images are collected

    • No facial recognition or profiling is used

    • Surveillance areas are clearly marked

  • Any other lawful processing purposes, with the subject's consent or as required by law.

3. DISCLOSURE OF PERSONAL DATA

  1. The Company respects confidentiality and only discloses personal data to third parties when necessary to fulfill a contract or for other legal reasons.

  2. Data may be shared with data processors providing services to the Company. These processors act under the Company’s instructions and ensure compliance with the Regulation.

  3. Data may also be provided to courts or state institutions as required by law.
